A Waste Management Plan (WMP) is a document that outlines how waste will be minimised, separated, stored, collected, and disposed of during the construction and/or operational phases of a development. 

It typically identifies:

• The types and quantities of waste expected
• Waste avoidance and recycling strategies
• On-site storage and collection arrangements
• Licensed contractors and disposal facilities
• Measures to ensure compliance with council and environmental requirements

Waste Management Plans are commonly required by councils as part of planning permit applications to demonstrate responsible and sustainable waste practices.
